Moss and Lichen
While the rain hasn't done much for the fungi, it has created some bright patches of moss here and there. If you click on some of these to enlarge, you'll see all sorts of tiny extras!

That last pic has a bit of everything --- moss, fungi, liverworts...
We've just had a bit of rain to liven up the bryophytes here. I should go out and have a butcher's at them. All you really have to do is look.
Yes, it always fascinates me what you suddenly see when you enlarge the photo!
